The Apartment
Our apartment is tastefully and individually furnished. Each window has electrically operated blinds to keep out the sun and light when required. There is a video entry phone system on the main door. The apartment complex is serviced by lifts and tiled throughout so wheelchair and pushchair access should not be a problem, however please bear in mind that this is not purposely designed as a disabled complex so some areas may not be accessible. If in doubt please ask and we will answer as honestly as possibly. You will be met on arrival and shown around the apartment
WiFi wireless Internet is provided within the actual apartment for your convenience (subject to fair use policy) 24 hours a day so you don't have to walk to the local cafe to check your email ;)
Bedroom
In the main bedroom there is a super king size bed (which can unzip to become two, 3ft single beds if requested at time of booking), and in the sitting room are two bed-settees which turn into three-quarter size beds - these are larger than a single and so allow one person to spread. The mattresses are all memory foam and the bedding and towels are Egyptian cotton. Air conditioning is provided for your comfort.
There is also a travel cot on request, please ask for this at the time of booking.
The Bedroom has ample storage space with a built in wardrobe, two bedside tables and a
dressing table and stool. There is also an additional wardrobe situated outside the
bathroom for any extra storage. To help keep your packing down included is a hair-dryer
for us women that prefer nature not to take it's course.
Bathroom
The bathroom is equipped with all the usuals, toilet, basin with illuminated mirror and shaver socket, bidet, shower over bath, which is a hydrotherapy whirlpool bath.
Living Room
The dining room table seats four comfortably as do the leather settees.
For your entertainment a 32inch widescreen LCD television, satellite receiver and a DVD
player with a small selection of DVDs is provided. Additionally, the central music system
provides speakers in the kitchen and bedroom allowing you to enjoy the same audio in all the
main areas. You can plug in your MP3 player if you desire. There is also a small selection
of books and a pack of playing cards. Air conditioning is provided for your comfort.
Please note that many TV channels switched to the new Astra 2E satellite around 9th
February 2014. Due to the tight UK spot-beam being used, many channels including BBC and ITV
are no longer available anywhere in the Algarve, and are very poor throughout most of Spain,
Portugal and Southern France.
Balcony
The private balcony has table and chairs and is a pleasant place for breakfast, lunch or dinner. It has views out over the pool with glimpses of the marina and is cool in the heat of the day.
Kitchen
The kitchen has a table and chairs and is well stocked with all the kitchen equipment you would hope to find, including, espresso machine, kettle, toaster, caftiere, saucepans, knives, quality cutlery, crockery and ample tumblers and wine glasses. Built in are a full sized cooker, hob, microwave oven, fridge/freezer, washing machine and central vacuum. Not forgetting that there are some chores which still follow us on holiday so provided is an iron, ironing board, airer/clothes dryer, mop, bucket and dustpan and brush.
Communal Areas
Outside are the landscaped communal areas, an outdoor pool and tub, a children's play area situated slightly away from the pool and seating areas all around. There is an indoor heated pool, jacuzzi, shower areas, and a gym. So relaxing by the pool is not just an option for summer days. Sun-loungers are provided by the condominium but we ask that you supply your own poolside/beach towels.
